Welcome to March! This month marks the transition from winter to spring in the Northern Hemisphere, bringing longer days and often milder weather. As the weather warms up, many people start thinking about home and auto insurance needs.

I’m a lifelong West Michigander, experienced in forging long-term relationships with the people of my community. As a second-generation agent, it feels like I was born into the State Farm family. My father was a State Farm agent for 50 years, and I’ve been involved since I was in middle school, spending my summers helping my dad out around the office. Eventually, I opened my own agency, and I’ve been running it for the past 30 years. We work with people from Muskegon, MI and all over, including Whitehall, Fremont, Norton Shores, Holland, Cedar Springs, Rockford, and the greater Grand Rapids area.

At my office, we certainly understand the importance of family, and we try to make each customer feel like they’re part of ours. We even have some families who have been working with us for multiple generations. My team of nine are all seasoned veterans with over 100+ years of combined experience in providing excellent service. Our close-knit office culture with a warm and welcoming atmosphere is what sets us apart from other agencies. We’re hyper-focused on getting to know our customers and maintain those relationships for years.

My team and I are very involved in community activities, offering tutoring at our elementary school, providing mentorship to our local Girl Scouts, and working in the community garden. We also love to participate in charitable events for special needs students and raise funds for Relay for Life as well as leading and participating a in a nonprofit in the fight to end Veteran suicide. When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m probably spending time with my grandkids exploring Michigan’s beautiful hiking trails or on the ski slopes. Born and raised in Muskegon, I’m a proud Michigander, and I can tell you where the most fantastic views and trails can be found.
